Exeter Science Park has brought a new dimension to business meetings with the installation of its newest – and smallest – meeting room.

Sponsored by PKF Francis Clark, an innovative Nook Pod mobile workspace has been delivered to the Science Park Centre and is an instant hit with tenants and visitors alike.

Dr Sally Basker, CEO of Exeter Science Park said: “The Nook Pod is ideal for more productive smaller meetings, perfect for those who don’t want a larger seminar room and want more privacy than our café.”

With its sound-deadening walls, induction loop charging and mood lighting, the Nook is the ideal meeting setting.

Dr Basker added: “I’m thrilled that PKF Francis Clark has sponsored our first Nook Pod, supporting new ways of working and helping innovative science and technology businesses to grow. We know that this exciting and creative meeting space will inspire more ‘eureka’ moments by allowing people to focus and engage.”

The innovative new workspace has been provided by one of the South West’s leading chartered accountants PKF Francis Clark.

Lewis Banfield, Partner at PKF Francis Clark, said: “We are delighted to be supporting science and technology businesses locally and as part of that facilitate creativity and a new approach to meetings by sponsoring the park’s first Nook.

“Exeter Science Park is one of the best locations in the South West for growing businesses and we look forward to continuing to work with them, encouraging innovation and enterprise in the knowledge-based economy.”

To celebrate the opening of one of Exeter’s smallest meeting rooms, PKF Francis Clark and Exeter Science Park are offering users the chance to win a bottle of champagne simply by sharing their ‘#PodSquad’ selfie. Visit @ExeterSciencePk on Twitter for more information.
