Amsterdam! Our temporary home last week for one of the most insightful events across Europe for all things Coworking. The three-day summit covered Coworkings impact on entrepreneurship, innovation and overall future of the workplace.
Over fifty speakers and panellists held discussions and shared best practices along with their thoughts to an audience making up the A-Z of the coworking world. Facility managers, real estate pundits, space operators, public development officials, city council representatives, universities and start-up incubators.
We brought along several Nook Pods on the first day of the event for attendees to be able to work, relax, recharge, hold meetings (and even finish off a plate of something delicious) in.
NOOKS AT COWORKING EUROPE SUMMIT
Coworking spaces are a result of new models emerging in the business world and society in general. People more openly sharing values like collaboration, openness and positive change – reflected in the summits community. The Nook Pods were in demand on the first day – so well, in fact, we had to call in for Nook reinforcements on the second and double the Pods placed around the venue.
Feedback from CoworkingEU attendees on the Nooks was extremely important to us. Beyond the warm, recognisable, welcoming structure, Nook Pods are outfitted for productive work: comfy upholstery, colorful finish options, power, and Aircharge wireless charging stations are standard.
The choice of venue for the summit – B. Amsterdam, is a creative workspace itself pushing for innovation, education and growth. Many startups, creatives and corporates call it home learning and growing with each other. After only just a few days of having Nooks dotted around the space, B. Amsterdam was reluctant to let us leave… so we left four Nook Pods as a live onsite demo available for all B Events and for interested Nooksters to come and check them out!
