#CLEUR Cisco Live is Cisco’s annual customer conference with tens of thousands of attendees over a 5 day period. This year the European leg of the event was held in Fira Barcelona. It featured talks, workshops, 1:1 meetings with Cisco experts, networking sessions and a Customer Appreciation Event.
As part of a premium visitor experience, Nook Event Pods provided huddle spaces and personal workstations to help attendees relax, recharge and hold short meetings.
The Nook acoustic event booths were eagerly embraced by attendees as ad-hoc meeting huts. Because of their sound reduction qualities, they create a quiet bubble within a bustling, noisy event space.
For Cisco Live we were proud to partner with GPJ (George P Johnson) the global creative events, logistics and production agency. In total 14 Nooks were utilised for the event – fully wrapped with a temporary all-over graphic branding and event messaging to enhance Cisco & their sponsors’ visibility.
Ten of the Nook event meeting pods were used as free-to-all ad hoc meeting and charging spaces – each nook is fully equipped with USB, plug power ports and Air Charge wireless charging – and four of the popup meeting pods were individually custom branded for Orange Business, Veeam, NetScout and Cisco Experience (CX) Lab to make use of and engage one-to-one with customers and prospects on their exhibition stands.
With event management in mind, Nook meeting pods are perfect for event professionals. Among the many benefits is the fast and sustainable installation and removal, with almost zero waste. The robust and well-packed event meeting booths are unloaded from a transport vehicle and wheeled into place in the final hours of a conference build-up. They are locked in place using the heavy-duty castor wheels attached to the bottom of every pod.
Feedback from visitors was excellent with many remarking at the quietness and intimacy inside, allowing for concentration and good conversation while remaining connected to the vibe of the event. Some commented on the spacious comfortable design and ability for two people to work on laptops inside. GPJ and Cisco reported to being delighted with the Nooks and look forward to using them again at future events.
After the event, these versatile meeting pods moved on to new events in Barcelona, Amsterdam and London.
