Virgin Active are the latest in a long and wonderful line of organisations adding the benefits of Nook mobile meeting & workspace to their workplace.
The Virgin Active Nooks, with upholstery in a fire engine red to match the Virgin brand, and equipped with Aircharge wireless power charging, will provide conversation and concentration spaces as part of the breakout area at Head Quarters, in London.
The area will remain intentionally ‘agile’ in order to adapt to various functions. Nook can easily be wheeled from one position to the next with minimum fuss.
Given that this location had in place beautiful natural backdrops in the form of greenery and wall murals, it was decided to remove and store the upper back walls of the Nooks so that the fullness of the ambient light and detailing present could be enjoyed.
The whole build was completed in 3 hours with no disruption to business activity in the area.
